Doo-Nanny!
Let the countdown begin…for the Doo-Nanny Outsider Art Show! An astounding group of artist get together for this once a year event and set up on this gorgeous 80-acre private farm in Seale, AL. We’ll have a 24-hour “lo-fi” Film Festival, Food, Music, Experimental Architecture & tons of Mirth Making! Big Sculptural Bonfire Burn, Spa Village, Tree Houses with Mini-bars, Solar Showers, Worm Powered Outhouses, Spontaneous Merriment & did I mention ART, ART, ART! Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 10am-5pm.
Jump in your car (it’s only a 2 hr drive from Atlanta), bring along some friends & prepare to be amazed! 41 Poorhouse Rd. Seale, AL 36875 (near Columbus, GA). A $10 donation gets you in all day & night!

Kentuck Festival of the Arts!
Some things are worth the wait! Kentuck Festival of the Arts is celebrating 40 years of rockin’ the art scene!! If you haven’t yet made it to the Kentuck Festival, you need to get on over this weekend Sat & Sun Oct 15th & 16th to Tuscaloosa, AL (Northport). This is one of my all time favorite festivals…it is a good time just waiting for you! There’s great Art (Outsider & Contemporary), the best line-up of Artists you’ll ever want to meet, and then there’s tons of Music, Food, & Demos!
The festival has been designated a Top Ten Art Festival by American Style magazine and is a great show that you really should pop for this year, so load up the car & head on over on Sat & Sun 9am-5pm.
You an find me in my usual spot # H-27, come by for a visit & some laughs. Oh…and did I mention this is the first time in 3 years you won’t have to compete with a major football game to get to the show?

Folk Fest!
I have been invited to show my work at the Yee Haw booth this year! Julie will have a nice large booth at Folk Fest 2011 with a wonderful space full of amazing artwork by the talented Yee Haw Industries artists. Yee Haw will be offering a tasty sampling of a few of their favorite southern artists in the gallery (including yours truly). Come on over and give us a big Howdy!

I will be there for the “Meet the Artist” Opening Night Party on Friday evening from 5-10PM. Come out and meet your favorite artists & see some astounding artworks. Admission for opening night festivities is $15, and that gets you in for the Friday night soiree along with re-admission on Sat and Sun.
If you have never made it out to Folk Fest before, I highly recommend a trip to this once a year event. It features 100 galleries & dealers from around the country specializing in Self-taught Art, Outsider Art, and Folk Art.

American Craft Week…Oct 1st…Decatur, GA
“Baubles & BottleTrees” Adornments for the Home & Body! Join us for a Trunk Show featuring Jeanne Flint Art Jewelry alongside Mississippi artist Stephanie Dwyer and her fabulous BottleTrees. This one day event is a meet & greet with the artists and an opportunity to see their exciting work together for the first time. This is an American Craft Week event! Hosted by Wild Oats & Billy Goats Gallery in downtown Decatur, GA. Address: 112 E. Ponce De Leon Ave (the former By Hand South space) Friday October 1st, hours 1-7pm. Folk Fest!
This weekend is gonna be a busy one! The gallery that represents my work gallery in Decatur will have a nice large booth at Folk Fest 2010. They be showing my work along with a wonderful sampling of the other artists represented in their gallery. Wild Oats is a new gallery space and the owners (Weatherly & Hugh) are having their debut showing at Folk Fest this year. Come out and give them a warm welcome!

Grand Opening…new Gallery in Decatur!
Put this on your calendar… join me on Saturday April 10th for the grand opening of Wild Oats in downtown Decatur. They are carrying my jewelry and the work of many other fabulous artists. The focus here is on Outsider/Folk/Recycled Art. Grand Opening hours are from 11-7. I will be there in person from 5PM-7PM and I’d love to see your smilin’ face!!
