jeanneflint-trioIt’s just about time for the 8th annual Student & Instructor Jewelry Market.  Come join us on Sunday, Feb 12th (one day only) at the Spruill Center for the Arts. Hours are 11am-5pm at 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd 30338.

The market will showcase beginning to professional level jewelry artists selling their unique handcrafted jewelry to the public.  I’ll be showing in the instructor room, along side the other talented instructors.  You’ll find diverse jewelry styles in precious metals, glass, beads, gemstones at prices to fit every budget, and admission is free! New this year: Glass Blowing demonstrations and short classes for all ages!

Candlelight Nights at The Atlanta History Center!

landing-ahm-01-1900Join us Friday evenings for Candlelight Nights at The Atlanta History Center. Dec 9th & Dec 16th from 5:30-9:30. Experience a candlelit stroll through the beautifully decorated gardens and grounds (seeing the AHC grounds by candle light is stunningly beautiful). I will be showing by jewelry at the Christmas Market in the atrium of the History Museum with other local artists.  There will also be music, food & all around merriment. See ya’ there!

Local Atlanta Art Shows (2 of 2) Holiday Open House

simonesalefrontPlease join us for the 1st Annual Holiday Open House at Pleasant Hugh Studio-the studio space of Simone Wilson (welcome back to the Atlanta art scene, Simone!!)
The art at the show will include: metal works, mixed media, leather, jewelry, printmaking, photography, lighting and more.  This will be a fun-filled weekend of holiday cheer with great art for sale! Simone will be displaying and selling her garden gates, porch art, paintings and ornaments. Local Atlanta Art Shows (1 of 2) Out of Our Hands

Located in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood at the home of Kathy Peters.  Each year Kathy gathers together a talented group of artist to show their work at the start of the holiday season. At the show you will find: Paintings, Drawings, Fiber, Jewelry, Clay, Wood, Collage, Lighting, Sculpture & Ornaments of all kinds! Shopping is fun & joyful. There will be light snacks & wine. Many of the artists will be present & happy to discuss their work with you!

Art at The Atlanta History Center!

The festival is set up around the historic Smith Family Farm and provides the beautiful location for exploring Art, Food & Music. Visit with contemporary folk artists showing and selling their original artworks! Throughout the day there will be hands-on traditional craft demonstrations, chef’s cooking demonstrations, local brews & folk music! Explore the AHS & Goizueta Gardens. Free to members.
